I did not expect to be a counselor, getting a BBA from Texas A&M and working in retail management for 9 years. Through this and other experiences, I recognized that I had a gifting and desire to help people. This led me to complete a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and subsequently completing my Professional Counselor license.
My hope for every client is that through our work together, you would be able to restore and increase hope through a rooted concept of who you are as an image-bearer of God and an understanding of who your fears, passions, and past have told you that you are.
I work to integrate true understandings of the human mind and body from various psychological theories and methods with a Christian understanding of the whole self. The goal is to help clients overcome life burdens and mental disorders. I have worked with clients ranging from high school to retirement age, individuals and families, experiencing various issues including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, severe anger, relationship conflict, family dynamics, and boundary setting.
I look forward to the opportunity to help you recognize what has created unhelpful patterns in your life and see you find freedom from them.

Let’s discover truth and wisdom in the innermost parts. Life does not always go the way we plan. Sometimes we feel disheartened, overwhelmed, or stuck, and we need help. You don’t have to go through this alone. I will walk alongside you as you find new beginnings, grounding, hope, and healing.
We will work together to understand how the full system of the body influences the brain, feelings, behavioral patterns, and self-beliefs. This will allow us to appropriately address the underlying issues so you can make the change you want for yourself, be whole, and cultivate health.
I take a trauma-informed approach to help clients work through anxiety, attachment wounds, boundary issues, depression, destructive self-beliefs, family-of-origin issues, maladaptive behavioral patterns, self-doubt, self-esteem, trauma, and women’s issues.
I aim to offer a safe space where you feel heard, felt, and seen. It would be an honor to help you connect with and explore the depths of your heart and come alive.
Specialties: Anxiety, Attachment Wounds, Depression, Family-of-origin issues, Trauma, and Women’s Issues.
Approaches: Trauma-informed, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Psychodynamic, Attachment, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Faith-based interventions.
